The Jeep Wrangler 4xe is a powerful, plug-in hybrid electric vehicle that is the perfect addition to the traditional Jeep Wrangler lineup. This model offers phenomenal performance features, increased horsepower, torque output, and naturally great fuel economy and exclusive badging. Learn more about its capabilities today in Kingston.

Powertrain and Plug-in Hybrid Configuration

The Jeep Wrangler 4xe offers a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine that pairs with a single electric motor, both situated at the front of the frame. You'll enjoy an eight-speed automatic transmission as well as up to 375-horsepower output and 470-pound-feet of torque. This electrified powertrain configuration is accompanied by what is known as "Electric mode," which can be switched on to deliver solely electric performance for up to 25-miles if you have a full charge. You can also toggle to "eSave mode," which will enable you to rely on just gasoline if you're running low on electric charge.

Badging and Other Capabilities

Just because it's a plug-in hybrid doesn't mean the Jeep Wrangler 4xe isn't trail-rated. You'll still enjoy full-time four-wheel drive, two Dana 44 axels, water fording to up to 30-inches, and 10.8-inches of ground clearance. You'll also enjoy some unique exterior appearance details that differ from other Jeep Wrangler trim levels. The 4xe can also be equipped with Rubicon features, and this blue detailing will make an appearance throughout the bold Rubicon logos as well.
