The Wrangler Is Bigger, Faster, Stronger for 2018

Jeep Wrangler fans anxiously anticipated the unveiling of the 2018 revamp of the Jeep Wrangler. As the unofficial representative for off-road vehicles, any changes to the Jeep Wrangler are met with healthy scrutiny. Has the Jeep Wrangler maintained its historical position as a bulky, fun, off-roading machine, or has it gone the way of too many other SUVs that opt for luxury and open road performance?

The 2018 Jeep Wrangler has not only stuck to its root, it has improved on them. There are some changes that will be divisive based on personal preference like the shorter throw shifter, shorter clutch, and CV joints opposed to traditional U-joints (note the only version that has CV joints is the Sahara trim with a full-time transfer case.)

Most changes will be universally loved, including a huge upgrade to the Wrangler's off-roading capability, upgrades to the 3.6-liter Pentastar engine, electro-hydraulic steering, and a new, lighter frame. Something that will immediately catch your eye is the totally revamped interior. The Jeep brand took inspiration from their more style-forward models and gave the center and driver consoles modern layouts with a hint of old military style.

We are so excited to sell this new Jeep Wrangler at our Kingston, NY dealership. L.T. Begnal Motor Company is here to serve all of your Jeep Wrangler needs.
